Through this course, learners will be equipped with the knowledge and skills to lead a security team and induct security officers at deployment sites.

Course Title : Capability Development (Induct Security Personnel) (ISP)

The Course Consists of 4 Learning Units:
• LU 1: Develop workplace learning plan and prepare to induct new security officers
• LU 2: Conduct induction on access control, patrolling, security alarm systems and reception duties
• LU 3: Provide feedback and guidance on work progress and emergency situations

Learners need to attain at least  75% attendance and pass the course to obtain the Statement of Attainment (SOA)

Minimum Entry Requirements


Learners should be able to lsten to, speak, read and wite English at a proficiency level equivalent to the Employability Skills System  Workplace Literacy (WPL) Level 4; and use numeracy skills equivalent to the Employability Skills System Workplace Numeracy (WPN)  Level 4.

Individuals who do not meet the entry requirements will be subjected to interview before acceptance into the course.
