What You'll Learn This 2-day course covers the skills and knowledge required to contain incidents of damage to facilities and equipment, handle incidents related to fire, crime, medical and first-aid, bomb or improvised explosive device (IED) threats, search, apprehend and arrest a suspect and give evidence in court.

This course is suitable for anyone who is seeking a career in the security industry.

Entry Requirements:

  1. No minimum educational entry requirements. However, candidates must meet the required workplace literacy and numeracy level and should possess the relevant assumed skills and knowledge.
  2. Candidates are advised to apply from the Singapore Police Force for a security officer licence before submitting an online application for courses at SII.
