What You'll Learn

This 3-day course covers basic security skills and knowledge required to be deployed as a security officer and includes performing static guard duty, handling telephone calls and lost-and-found properties, patrolling premises, and making incident reports.

Pre-requisites:

  1. Read, write, and speak English at WPL Level 4
  2. Manipulate numbers at WPN Level 4
  3. Act in a professional manner
  4. Observe confidentiality
  5. Be vigilant at all times
  6. Physical and medical requirements
    • Certified by a medical doctor to be physically fit for work
    • Must not be colour-blind or hearing impaired

Nationality Requirements

  1. Singapore Citizen
  2. Singapore Permanent Resident
  3. Malaysian Citizen with a valid work pass
